DICE is a mobile-first ticketing platform and consumer marketplace. Fans hold tickets in the DICE app, the recommendation feed surfaces shows to people who were not looking for you, and anti-resale measures keep tickets out of the secondary market. Fees are quoted per partner. Its mobile-first energy is aimed at the fan, and partner event setup and reporting run through a web dashboard. BANDANA's native iOS app is aimed at the person running the room, and specifically at the months before the show rather than the door: booking requests, confirmations, advances, and ticket pages. BANDANA does no door scanning, and on Android or desktop the web app does everything the iOS app does except offline reading. It gives an independent room a page it owns, a flat 25 cents per ticket, payouts to its own Stripe account, and a ticket page assembled from the advance the bands already filled in.

    Choose DICE if

    • You want a marketplace putting your show in front of new fans
    • Resale and scalping are a real problem for your online sales
    • You like fans holding tickets in a dedicated app with waiting lists

    Choose BANDANA if

    • Your crowd comes from your own channels and band fan bases, not a discovery feed
    • You want a low flat fee instead of a negotiated rate
    • The show page should live on your website, in your brand
    • You want the app pointed at you, the operator, not only at the ticket buyer

    Common questions

Can I run my venue from my phone?
DICE is mobile-first for fans — the ticket lives in the fan's app — while partner event setup and reporting run through a web dashboard. BANDANA points its app at the operator, and at the months before the show: booking requests, confirmations, advances, and ticket pages all work from the native iOS app. The door is out of scope for BANDANA, and on Android or desktop the web app does everything the iOS app does except offline reading.
Does BANDANA promote my show to new fans?
No. BANDANA is not a consumer marketplace. It gives you a page and embeds to promote through your own channels, and keeps the platform fee at 25 cents because it is not buying an audience for you.
    Do buyers need an app?
No. A BANDANA ticket is bought in a browser and confirmed by email.

    TWENTY-FIVE CENTS A TICKET. THAT'S THE FEE.

There is no marketplace behind a BANDANA ticket page, only the booking thread that produced it.

No contract, no sales call, and one number you can agree on before you sell a ticket.
