Create a gig page and run the advance
Create an event on the date, add the approved bands to the bill, and publish the run of show. Each band fills in its own bio, setup, photos, and guest list.
Create the event
- 01Open the date on your booking calendar.
- 02Create an event and select the approved bands for the bill.
- 03A title is generated from the lineup, which you can edit.
Publish the details
- 01Set the run of show — load-in, soundcheck, doors, and set times in five-minute increments.
- 02Add backline and any gig details the bands need.
- 03Set the total guest list limit. BANDANA divides it across the bands on the bill.
Collect from the bands
- 01Bands add their bios, stage plots, photos, and guest list names.
- 02Share the public gig link for anyone who is not signed in.
- 03If you sell tickets with BANDANA tix, the event description, lineup, and band-submitted photos become the starting point for the ticket page. You choose the hero image and final description when you build the ticket.
Good to know
- Event defaults let you pre-populate the gig description, details, and backline so you are not retyping them every week.
- Photos submitted by bands can be downloaded on any device.
- The gig page is the source of truth for the event. The ticket page can customize its own hero image and description without changing the gig page.
- Emails are triggered by activity here: adding a band to the bill emails that band's admins, and changing the schedule or cancelling emails everyone on the bill. Scheduled gigs also send 2-week, 1-week, and same-day reminders. See the full list in Emails BANDANA sends you.
